We are a Crafty Bunch!

The past couple weeks we have been making fantastic fish. One week we made fish using tubes, paper cuttings and crepe paper ribbons. The following week we made fish using paper plates and paint. We displayed them in the hall for Friday, the day of our Craft Fair.

On Friday we visited the hall and had a look at all the crafts made by the children in the other classes. We saw fantastic things!

PE

One day we played with hula hoops on the yard. We had great fun! Have a look!

Scarecrow

We picked a name for our scarecrow. We decided on Rosie. Isn't it a beautiful name?

We brought in clothes for Rosie.

We will put her in the Secret Garden next week.

Writing

We learned to write five letters this week! Have a look.

We learned to write the letter q.

You start at the dot and go all around like a c, close it and go down, down, down under the line with a kick.

We learned to write the letter u.

You start at the dot and go down, around and up and straight down with a kick.

We learned to write the letter v.

You start at the dot, slant down and slant up.

We learned to write the letter w.

You start at the dot, slant down, slant up, slant down and slant up.

We learned to write the letter y.

You start at the dot and go down, around and up and straight down, down, down under the line and kick it back.

We also did another sentence in our writing copies.
