Our First Few Days at School

Here is a quick recap of our first couple weeks in Junior Infants.

We started school in Scoil Mhuire on Thursday, the 29th August. We had a great time learning new rhymes. We learned Build a House, Tommy Thumb, Two Little Dickie Birds and I’m a Little Teapot in the first week alone!

We got to know each other during Play Time. Here are pictures of us playing with our new friends.

       

We played the Bumblebee name game to learn our friend’s names.

“Bumblebee, Bumblebee, will you say your name for me?” ”My name is ___.”

We learned the Nursery Rhyme Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and we coloured and cut out our own stars. Why? Because we are superstars, that’s why! Look at all the boys and girls in our class. (Names have been blacked out.)
